1. General Provisions

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Cross.ge platform, an online car marketplace operating in Georgia, available at cross.ge. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms. The platform is operated in accordance with the laws of Georgia, including the Law of Georgia on Electronic Commerce. Use of the platform is also governed by the Privacy Policy, available at cross.ge/privacy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

  • We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any listing

4. Prohibited Activities

  • Posting fraudulent or misleading listings
  • Spamming, mass messaging, or harassing other users
  • Using the platform for illegal activities
  • Automated scraping or data extraction
  • Impersonating other users or entities

5. Liability and Its Limitations

Cross.ge is a platform connecting buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction between users. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the condition of vehicles, or the completion of any transaction. Users conduct all transactions at their own risk. Cross.ge performs basic moderation of listings but cannot guarantee the complete absence of dishonest sellers. We recommend verifying the vehicle and its documents before any transaction (see the “Safe Deal” section). To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Georgia, Cross.ge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform, including lost profits, loss of data, or non-pecuniary damage.

6. Intellectual Property

The Cross.ge brand, logo, design, and technology are protected by copyright and trademark laws. By uploading content (photos, descriptions, videos) to the platform, you retain all rights to it but grant Cross.ge a non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license to use, store, and display it in connection with the operation of the platform. The license terminates when the user removes the content, except where the content is retained in backups or is required for the resolution of disputes.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

The platform uses strictly necessary cookies for session management and authentication, and optionally, browser local storage for personalized recommendations. A detailed description is available in the Privacy Policy. You can manage your consent through the cookie banner on your first visit or by clearing your browser’s local storage at any time.

8. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on the platform infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, submit a complaint to support@cross.ge with: (a) a link to the disputed content; (b) a description of the infringement; (c) confirmation of your rights. Verified violations result in removal of the content and, for repeat offenders, in account suspension.

9. Force Majeure

Cross.ge shall not be liable for any failure to provide services due to force majeure events — outages of infrastructure providers (Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare), natural disasters, hostilities, acts of governmental authorities, power or internet outages, and other events beyond our reasonable control.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the use of the platform are governed by the laws of Georgia. Disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Georgia. Before legal action, we encourage users to contact our support team.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
